Challenges facing Iraqi women assume leadership positions

The research aims to identify the challenges facing Iraqi women who assume leadership positions from the perspective of policy-makers, through a prospective study of men representatives in parliament. The study consisted of 47 men in state's institutions, and the questionnaire is used as a tool to collect data and information to achieve the objectives of the research, as it used a number of reliable and valid statistical tools, to reach the following significant results: 1- Half of the men of the study agree that 40% of Iraqi women are excellent in domestic affairs, 38% in the economic field, and 21% in the social field. 2- 57% of men of the study are not convinced by the representation of women in parliament which reached to 25%, while 21% supported this percentage. 3- 68% of cultural traditions are considered the most important challenges facing women in leadership positions, then 51% of security situation challenges, then community incentive 44%, and the incentive household 42%.
