Abstract

This research deals with the security of GCC after the changes happened in the region which bring down several Arab regimes and the impact of these changes on the security of the GCC. The threats they face are not due only to the changes of the region, but extended to include security threats directly from the inside of the GCC. The research shows the most prominent strength and weakness points in the security equation for the GCC and particularly in terms of internal threat regarding the regional threat to the security and stability of the Gulf. The research also shows the attitudes of international and regional countries from the movements in GCC, which took in consideration there strategic interests under the increasing role of some regional powers that seem to be cautious about the regional changes and the movements in countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
