Abstract

The research deals with the role of a new Israeli party which is known as Kadima (progressive). It was established in 2005 after the split from Likud party. The split is considered as crucial phenomenon in the history of political life in Israel. Kadima which is known by its founder Sharon and then headed by Olmert gradually become one of the most famous political parties in Israel especially after it had combined between the rightists and leftists, needless to say that this party has a distinct attitude towards the question of peace between Arabs and Israel. This research studies the most important attitudes of Kadima party towards the war of Lebanon 2006, and how the leader of the party faced corruption questions which influenced passively the conditions of the party.
