This research studies the political system of United Arab Emirates, according to its evolution and composition. It also studies its federal system, and the form of political institutions composing this system which are the executive, legislative, and judicial authorities. It tries to evaluate the federal experience in UAE, taking into considerations its positive and negative points, answering the question whether this experience reached the level of federal maturity after the death of its leader Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan A'l Nhyan whose great leadership played a great role in the development of UAE. As federalism is an ideology before it can be a practice, we may ask if there is a parallelism between ideology and practice of federalism in UAE, especially there is a state of instability in Arab Gulf region, which may affect UAE entity in the future in case that the Arab Gulf faces the wave of the Arabian change.
