Abstract

This research deals with the importance of Iraq's regional position in the Arab Gulf region, and in spite of not being able to exercise regional role, but the attention strayed aspiration of the common and the importance to his qualifications, at a time when the Arab Gulf region is witnessing a feverish race to achieve the status and role between the different powers (United States of America, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the system of the Gulf cooperation Council, led by Saudi Arabia), and these forces may be different in the nature of the goals and objectives and purposes behind this race, but what is certain they agree on the importance of exploiting his place Iraq's regional so Iraq will remain a victim of this competition what the Iraqis did not realize where lies the real interest in the race witnessed by the Arab Gulf region.
