Abstract

Energy is the source of important strategic and one of the forms of the overall capacity of different countries, influencing the foreign policy of both the exporting and importing countries, affecting what is owned by states of national capabilities to its foreign policy through the comprehensive capabilities of States in determining the status and prestige of states in the international system, and the ability of State pursue an active foreign policy or not, and to identify alternatives and areas of action available to the political decision-maker, as well as the impact of the conflict and international cooperation, which is in line with what is confirmed by the twentieth century from the traditional sources of energy experience have had their impact on foreign policy for both importing and exporting countries, Fajarth the global distribution of energy sources indicate that the largest percentage of energy sources based on limited countries in the Persian Gulf, Central Asia, Africa, and Latin America, and Russia
